Understanding the Procurement Act 2023: A Video Introduction

The Procurement Act 2023 is set to bring transformative changes to public sector procurement in the UK, with a focus on efficiency, transparency, and creating opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Currently, the Act is due to be implemented on 24 February 2025, although a New National Procurement Policy Statement (NPPS) is expected to be released before the Act’s commencement. The central digital platform development is in progress and final guidance documents should be released ahead of any implementation date.
